喫茶店 BEAT CAFE — Restaurant in Tokyo

Very unfriendly place with a grumpy owner, even though the food was quite good. There are many rules and regulations in this place, you are not allowed to use the phone and computer, and even though I wasn’t using my devices, once I was asked to stop making sketches on my notebook while reading one of their magazines. There are notes everywhere saying you must make another order of staying more than one hour, however the truth is, each time I came here, I was asked to leave after just about 40 minutes, and when I was the only customer in the store, the owner kept looking at me and then check the clock on the wall and took out my coffee cup which I hadn’t finished yet. Again I like the cozy atmosphere of this place but the overall unfriendliness makes it creepy and I wouldn’t choose to...

The perfect spot for a small breakfast. We happened by this cafe after being forced indoors by snowy weather (in late March!), and it was exactly what we needed. Both styles of eggs and toast were delicious and the coffee was good too. And only 600 yen for toast and a coffee! A cozy spot with jazz music and some interesting books about eggs.

I got up a bit sick today so I really needed to chill and eat something I was walking around the area and I found this jazz coffee…I need to say that is a hidden gem!! the owner was a really nice guy the vibes in the coffee, music the decoration everything was beautiful and immaculate, I ordered scrambled eggs toast and a lemon ginger soda (FANTASTIC CHOICE) everything was actually super nice!
