Loved this place, came back twice during my trip in Japan. The food is fresh, it is super delicious and the staff is really friendly. Price wise you just have to say your budget and the chef will cook accordingly (I asked for 5000 yen meal and was full at the end). One of the young chef is learning English so you can speak a little with him. I do recommend to make a reservation before because there are limited amount of seats. At last, because there are not a lot of western tourist coming here, please be respectful...

This restaurant is extremely authentic and makes you feel like you are on the set of a movie. I was waiting for the actors of Kill Bill to enter at any moment. The dishes are the best I've ever had in Japan. The sushi master knows his stuff and explains the details of each fish. もう10年以上前になるが、 あざみ野にも同姓同名?の 鮨逸喜優という店があり、 そこで寿司が口に合わず苦い経験をしたことから、 こちらへ訪問するのに抵抗感を感じていたが、 あれから長い年月が経ち 色々変わっているだろうから、 思い切って入ってみようと決意。 週末のランチタイムに予約無しということで、 満席覚悟で訪問したが、 すんなり入店することが出来た。 カウンター内にはベテランの大将と、助手の若い男性が一人。 どちらもあざみ野の逸喜優では見かけなかった顔で、ホッとする。 どうやらあざみ野の逸喜優が二子玉川に移転したわけではなく、 暖簾分けか、全く無関係かのどちらかのようだ。 大将の威勢のいい掛け声が響き渡る店内。 ランチタイムは握りとバラチラシを選べ、 ¥3000の握りを選択。 肴でマグロのしぐれ煮が出て、 その後は凄い勢いで握りと巻物が提供される。 ネタは全て天然物で、鮮度も良し。 どれもなかなか美味しかったのだが、 特に穴子はタレと塩の食べ比べが出来て、 タレも良かったが、 塩が素晴らしく美味しかった。 あとは味噌汁が海老の出汁が効いていて、 とても旨い。 テンポがいいのであっという間に完食したが、 握りは一貫のサイズが大きめだから、 しっかり満腹になる。 これで税込¥3000というのは、かなりお値打ちだ。 夜(昼にもあるかもしれない)のおまかせは ¥16000ぐらい行ってしまうようだから ランチでまた利用したいと思うが、 一度はおまかせで大将の料理をフルに満喫してみたいものだ。
