One of my concerns with potentially moving to Japan is my love for ethnic food. I live in Australia, which doesn't really have its own cuisine and mostly relies on foreign food. I don't think I could live somewhere that ONLY does its own cuisine.
This little mall restaurant has restored some faith in living here. It was some of the nicest Indian I've had and certainly the best in Japan.

I am a regular at this restaurant and some of my favorites are Cheese Naan + butter chicken, Chicken Biryani, Garlic Naan + shrimp/chicken curry, chicken cutlet + keema curry and yes don’t forget the yummy Mango Lassi :-) You can choose mild/medium/spicy depending on your taste!! The staff at Amara are incredibly attentive, super friendly and the service is amazing. For the quality and authenticity, the prices are more than reasonable. Portion sizes are generous. Overall 5star...

The butter chicken was perfect, full of authentic flavor and not overly sweet like some places make it. The biryani was also really tasty and well-balanced. Everything was just spot on. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic and halal...
