Good beer selection heavy on the IPAs. Only five selections on tap. I like porters, stouts, and browns but the variety of these beers is very limited. I was fortunate to find a peanut butter milk stout from Belching Beaver that was quite good. The store is in the middle of a food court so you have many options when it comes to food. I had the beef Cali Burrito from the Mexican chain restaurant Guzman y Gomez that paired well with stout beers. Will stop in again when the opportunity arises.

You will pay around 1,100 Yen for a pint, but as you won't find these ales at most bars (aside from dedicated craft beer bars) that is not an unreasonable price to pay in Tokyo for foreign craft beers. They also sell a variety of canned and bottled beers, and have a taster set of three beers for 1,000. Seats and standing tables are also available nearby. Will go again!

Selection is great and staff are friendly. The ambience is less than wonderful with very limited seating and "spendy food court" vibes. Prices were once reasonable but have become increasingly outrageous for locals. Tourists coming in from Haneda probably don't care due to the cheap yen, but even with the conversion you can buy a 4 or 6-pack of many of these beers in the states for the price of 1 tall can. Cold storage overseas is not cheap but...still feels like a rip-off. Did not buy anything last time I stopped by.

Edit: I am aware of no fewer than 3 shops in Japan with much better pricing than AA for quality American and domestic beers. I am tired of getting robbed at craft beer shops....

The open fridge has an awesome selection of imported craft beers (cans/bottles). Their tap list had 7 choices (Firestone Walker, Modern Times, Smog City, Stone, Lagunitas, Founders). Tried the Stone Scorpion Bowl IPA and Lagunitas Super Cluster DIPA. It's on the 3F in Atre, just take the escalator up 1 level. Lots of food options surrounding it like burritos, steak, chicken naan, etc. Small tables, bar seats, and standing room tables. I wish the tables were a bit cleaner, or wiped more regularly, but they were still fine to use. The location is great, right next to the...

Great beer, but the friendly vibe is lost....

For those who know the original Antenna America in Yokohama, it is good news that a closer branch is available in Shinagawa. Craft beer aside, there is however nothing of the original place in this one. Built within a sort of "food court" within Atre deparment store, this AA feels cold, anonymous, common.

Lost is the friendly vibe of the original....Because it is smaller, the choice of beer is also limited compared to the Kannai...
