Selection is great and staff are friendly. The ambience is less than wonderful with very limited seating and "spendy food court" vibes. Prices were once reasonable but have become increasingly outrageous for locals. Tourists coming in from Haneda probably don't care due to the cheap yen, but even with the conversion you can buy a 4 or 6-pack of many of these beers in the states for the price of 1 tall can. Cold storage overseas is not cheap but...still feels like a rip-off. Did not buy anything last time I stopped by.
Edit: I am aware of no fewer than 3 shops in Japan with much better pricing than AA for quality American and domestic beers. I am tired of getting robbed at craft beer shops....
Read moreThe open fridge has an awesome selection of imported craft beers (cans/bottles). Their tap list had 7 choices (Firestone Walker, Modern Times, Smog City, Stone, Lagunitas, Founders). Tried the Stone Scorpion Bowl IPA and Lagunitas Super Cluster DIPA. It's on the 3F in Atre, just take the escalator up 1 level. Lots of food options surrounding it like burritos, steak, chicken naan, etc. Small tables, bar seats, and standing room tables. Craft beer aside, there is however nothing of the original place in this one. Built within a sort of "food court" within Atre deparment store, this AA feels cold, anonymous, common.
