Good place to have a business lunch. However, the food was below average. The seafood spaghetti was awfully oily and it just tasted below average. The restaurant has to do a much better job describing the food. I first ordered the set lunch with the seafood curry as the main dish. It came with a drink which I received before the food. Only when the main dish came did the waiter tell me there was pork in the dish. Why is the dish called Spicy Seafood Curry when they put pork in it?! (rhetorical question). I don't eat meat (except for seafood on occasion), so I sent the dish back and ordered the seafood spaghetti. But then the waiter wanted to charge me separately for the drink in the set lunch. Certainly more natural light than the original location underground! I wish that the restaurant included more counter-seating, as that's what makes the original restaurant great; it caters for both sit-downs, as well as for on-the-go New Yorkers who are in for a quick bite. Read moreThis place is friendly to foreigners. It’s a huge restaurant on the 4th floor of atre. Good spot for large groups. The food was average but the oysters and squid ink risotto were amazing. The pricing is quite high (¥600+ per oyster piece) but you’re also paying for the atmosphere. I think the lights can be a little brighter and the air conditioning can be a little cooler in this summer heat but other than that, it is a pleasant place for a Friday...
