サウジアラビアには、ビリヤニとほぼ同じ調理方法の「カプサ」という料理があるそうです。 こちらのメニューの中に、アラビア風ビリヤニ（1180円）という物を見つけ、興味を惹かれて訪問しました。 見た感じは、被せタイプのビリヤニです。 トマトソースの絡んだタンドリーチキンに、チンされたバスマティライスが重ねられています。 注文時に辛さを聞かれたのは、このトマトソース部分だと思うのですが、辛口で頼んでも全く辛くありませんでした。加えて、あまりスパイス感もなかったです。食べる前は、エジプトのコシャリ的なトマトソースかと思っていたのですが…。 お肉はタンドリーチキンが2つ。大ぶりで食べごたえがありました。 ライスはダマがあったりと少々残念な出来でした。 本家の味を知らないのに申し訳ありませんが、これがアラビアか〜っと感じられるものはなかったです。

The staff was kind, but my food had no flavor. I've never had curry that was bland before, but it was like there were no spices at all?

The samosa was also really hard like it had been overcooked in a microwave or something. It was hard to chew. I heard a microwave beeping from the kitchen so I assumed the food wasn't all very fresh.

The naan was good, but I was really disappointed with the flavorless curry and overcooked samosa. It was quite expensive too... Maybe I just visited...

My boyfriend and I were looking for a lunch spot when we discovered this restaurant. It has outdoor seating so we were able to dine safely during the "State of Emergency". We realized we arrived around 45 minutes before lunchtime finished but staff were polite and happy to serve us. The curry was great and the naan bread! Friendly and good service too....
