Read moreMy family of four (including our son, 12, and daughter, 9) had the privilege of dining at the sushi counter at Atelier Morimoto this past Saturday night, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality, and the evening only became more exceptional as it unfolded.
The quality of the dishes was world-class. Every piece of fish was of the highest caliber—immaculately fresh, perfectly seasoned, and prepared with such precision that each bite felt like a masterclass in balance and flavor. The meats we were served were equally outstanding, tender and bursting with richness, highlighting the artistry of careful sourcing and preparation. Each course carried exquisite attention to detail, from presentation to taste, making the entire meal both a culinary journey and a visual delight.
The true highlight of the evening was the opportunity to be guided by Chef Takahiro Miyazaki. Chef Miyazaki is not only a master of his craft, but also an incredibly gracious and charismatic presence. His passion for food shines through in every interaction—he took the time to explain the nuances of each dish, and he engaged with our children in a way that made them feel welcomed and included in this fine-dining experience. His personality elevated the evening, making it feel personal, memorable, and filled with warmth. To watch his artistry and feel his kindness left an indelible impression on all of us. He is, without question, one of the finest chefs we have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
Lastly, we were deeply grateful to the restaurant for providing complimentary transportation back to our hotel at the end of the evening. This thoughtful gesture was the perfect finishing touch to a flawless night.
Thank you, Atelier Morimoto, for giving our family such a beautiful and memorable experience. We will carry the memory of this dinner with us always, and we look forward to...
Read moreI was lucky enough to have a wonderful birthday meal here. The entire experience was very enjoyable throughout. The service was very friendly and attentive throughout, the sake sommelier helped us get started with a good explanation of the choice of sakes available and the teppanyaki chef explained the courses available and helped customise some of them when my partner informed him of a shellfish allergy. He was also engaging throughout the meal and took great care in the preparation, presentation and explanation of all the dishes served. The food itself was pretty amazing, with an array of delicate flavours like the starter which was a sashimi dish playfully arranged in the style of the American flag that was both unique and tasty. Next we enjoyed foie gras dishes and fresh vegetables gift wrapped with a delicious miso sauce and a lobster teppan that was rich with flavour. The highlight of the night was definitely the wagging which was cooked rare and was the softest texture I have tasted. After that we had to find room for garlic fried rice and a lobster soup, both equally delicious. The evening was wrapped up by being invited upstairs to have the desert in the lounge, which was presented with a candle and a birthday message. Overall it was a fantastic experience combing great food, service and ambiance. A definite recommendation if you’re looking for great food and an experience...
