Demmers Teehaus — Restaurant in Tokyo

i've bookmarked it for long and could finally be here! this is a really lovely teahouse (teehaus!) and a lot of choices! trust me, there are too many that i started losing my focus losing my mind on what i really, really want! there is dining area on both the ground floor and upstairs. we ordered 2 cold tea and scones to enjoy for the afternoon. the order came a bit slow, but it was fine to sit and relax, just enjoy the quiet lovely time.

Went here to celebrate Mother's Day with my wife and two children aged 9 and 13. Greeted by a short miserable woman who made us feel about as welcome as a pack of wild animals. Wide eyed and completely unwelcoming with a panicked look on her face. Proceeds to make a pained appeal to my son to use the alcohol spray. Advised we would be seated on the 2nd floor and asked to order at the counter for a tea costing 1,000 ea. Sheer laziness. Nice place and atmosphere but the staff...

This café exudes a captivating European ambiance perfect for enjoying tea, but unfortunately, both the tea and cakes are priced at over 1000 Japanese yen. The strict one-hour limit for patrons detracts from the experience. Despite the premium cost, the tea lacked the expected exceptional taste, and the cakes were merely average.
