They don't receive even a star. Since it was my birthday I thought I'd go for the first time getting an aromatherapy oil Thai massage. I told the lady that she pressed too hard but she told me it is supposed to hurt in the beginning but get better later. It didn't go as expected and I couldn't even move my neck for a whole week! When I asked them for help their reply was delayed. I was asking if they're willing to corporate and support reimbursing me without all the trouble but they refused to help without a doctor's note mentioning that it was caused by the massage even though I have the medical bills. My hospital can only write a note about the pain but this is not enough for them. In the end this experience only cost me money and a painful experience. Don't recommend this place to anyone.
Edit : In response to you, if you're waiting for my response then why did you ignore my Line message on read today when I asked you to call me back? Also, legally speaking I already informed your manager that the hospital is only able to give me a certificate about the pain and that it's impossible to get it on the reason as they refuse to mention that unless it's a police complaint. The manager was confidently telling me that I should go for a police complaint and this kind of issue is difficult to get it done. You didn't give enough support when I asked so many times and even questioned my conscience asking if it's really due to the massage. How am I supposed to get proof now when the bills and the certificate that I had the pain is the only proof I can provide? Also, at first you told me that your insurance company will contact me but later you say that no it'll only be done through you. I am already tired...
Read moreI would not recommend this massage place. This is my honest review of what I experienced recently. When we arrived, a staff girl looked annoyed and didn’t welcome us. She said, “Do you have an appointment?” I told her I made a reservation and they found my name. Then we paid the bill, but they charged us incorrectly. It is only 21% off if you book a 90 min massage for their anniversary, not 60 min. You still get a discount for paying in cash.
When you go into the room, they hand you disposable underwear. I added a stock photo of a similar kind. One size fits all. Everyone gets the same thong. My boyfriend is more than twice the size of me and he was struggling to wear it lol. Looked like a sumo wrestler. The girl who massaged me was nice and polite. But I told her which area was causing me pain and she said ok but did not focus on that area. The stretching was nice, but the whole reason I came there was to get help for my back pain. I asked her if she could do a little bit more in that area and she nicely agreed but said maybe you can come next time. Shouldn’t I get help this time?
At the end, I felt the same as before I got the massage. No change. Still in pain. I was so disappointed because of the good reviews. If you search for the lowest ratings, you will see the same experience as mine. I should have read those reviews and gone to a different place the locals like and not touristy. I am leaving this review to help others. Also be careful at night in this area because there are lots of drunks. I saw one guy randomly try to pick up a girl on the sidewalk, but she...
Read moreClassic tourist trap. I was disappointed with my experience, having seen the positive reviews. I came in for a massage with the 20% birthday discount. The waiting area is small and it seemed to be a busy night with several people. When I arrived, there was an older lady chatting in Thai to the receptionist. After she confirmed on my ID it was my birthday, I was asked to sit down. She said something to the receptionist then asked me if I am from X country (racial profiling). I said no, I am from (my home country). She said something again to the receptionist then said, “Oh you don’t look like you are from (my home country)”. I didn’t reply. I don’t speak Thai but you can see how it looked. I felt like they were gossiping about me. I would have thought with the number of international customers they have, they would be aware that western countries are diverse. Even if they’re not aware, asking a customer personal questions in front of a busy waiting area is inappropriate. Of course I couldn’t relax during my massage. And it was my birthday, so it felt twice as bad. The massage felt average, but I was surprised they didn’t wipe the oil off. Every other Thai massage place I’ve been to does this as a courtesy. Instead, you’re left to get on the train in an oily mess and there is no designated area for you to clean yourself up. Despite the 20% discount, this place was expensive for the service I got. I would recommend going to a local-run massage place instead. You can search on Google Maps and it’ll be better service and value overall. Not a birthday...
