Randomly chose this place for tonight. 1 drink per person is required but the price is very reasonable so it's all good. We both got guava juice. We ordered 5 dishes to share between the two of us and total came to around 5300.

Papaya and pig ear salad - excellent Crispy fried shrimp (different to picture on menu but was tasty) - great Duck (we wanted salted chicken first but they ran out so we opted for duck) - good, meat on the chewy side Beef pho - good Omelette looking dish - excellent! Big portion too, we added this dish last coz we felt like we could still eat after the above 4 dishes, but this was bigger than we thought, so we could do without the duck or shrimps to be honest.

Excellent service, staffs are very attentive and even though they said the dish will take longer, but it wasn't much of a wait at all.

Might want to come back and try other stir fry dishes and for if you're someone who can't take spiciness, definitely order the papaya salad, it's like the non-spicy version of the Thai papaya salad...

We were in Tokyo for a few days and stayed in the Ueno area (nearby to this restaurant).

We were looking for a place for dinner and were excited to find a Vietnamese restaurant so close to us - being Vietnamese background we were missing Vietnamese food.

The food here is delicious, definitely the best Northern Pho we have had the pleasure of eating. The Bun Cha, Banh Xeo, Banh Mi, Papaya Salad and the Ca Phe Sua Da were also delicious.

The food was so good we came back consecutive nights for another bowl of Pho and other delicious meals. Even came back for a third for the Ca Phe Sua Da.

The owners were really friendly, nice and welcoming.

Everyone knows Vietnamese food is healthy and light! I was told a long time ago that it's all in the soup, if the soup doesn't make you feel at home, it's not real! I just loved the food and the soup, had to have a refill!! I just wish this place was closer to the station, but we'll worth the walk! 6 lunch selections that are all tasty and quite filling! Have to come for dinner one night! Oh, can't forget to mention how excellent the service is here! Smiles all over and do welcoming!! This is where a lot of servers should come...
