They forgot our order of paella and gave only an empty apology but still expected us to pay in full. We were told that paella orders would take around 40 minutes and after an hour of waiting we asked how much longer it would be.
It turns out our order wasn’t put in to the kitchen and it would be another 40 mins. Their apology was casual and so insincere. They didn’t seem to really care, it’s like this is a common issue for them.
How they let us sit there so long obviously waiting without even checking. And then expect us to just wait another 40 minutes with no offer of anything else? We left. And if we hadn’t spoken to anyone else on the way out I don’t think our waiter would have let anyone know the mistake.
For a restaurant that cost as much as it did, their customer service was terrible.
We paid over 5000 yen for drinks and a couple of starters and then had to find actual dinner elsewhere. This was meant to be a special dinner but turned out to be a waste of time and money.
