This place is basically waiting for your food and self serve the rest, but in a good way! You ran out of rice? You can go get more for free! You want more water? Just walk 5 steps and it’s around the corner!
This spot is really nice if you’re looking for a nice Japanese meal/ breakfast and not wanting to spend too much, as technically with the free rice refills you can eat whatever you want on the menu and not worrying about not getting full!
The quality of the meal also is really nice!
My only complaint will be that out of all the places I have been in Japan, this one took the most to serve my food, but it was still worth it, definitely would come back!

I got to experience a part of what the locals experience on the daily as there was no tourist going to this place aside from us. Walking in, we were greeted by a kiosk that has a decent English menu and good-enough translated instructions/procedures to get your order. The place was really clean, and the food was delicious. There's booth seatings for 4 pax, as well as 2 pax tables and counter style solo seats in a row. Good for a budget meal that fills you up while being tasty. Easy to find, it's along the main road. A bit over ¥1000 per pax. They were generous with the rice and you can get more, and their clam miso was full of clams and was flavourful.
