Kazu is amazing 🤟✌️ First we ordered whiskey sour while waiting for our curry soup and keema curry... Before dinner was served, we already finished up the drink! It was so good and smooth.

Then we requested something stronger, and he made me hot bloody mary and not sure what my partner had. Both were so good!! Finally before we left, we asked him to fix us something strong to remember our last night in Tokyo there, and he made us espresso martini.

The cocktail names may be common, but trust me, he's a man of his craft. Every base he used in our cocktails were infused, like whiskey apple to mellow out the sharp alcohol aftertaste, and bird-eye chilli infused vodka to swap out tabasco sauce. I was tipsy when he served us espresso martini, but I believe the base was coffee infused as it tasted smooth.

I would love to come back here and eat again...

An awesome curry spot in Asakusa that should not be overlooked! I highly recommend getting the soup curry with any extra toppings you like. It is a good portion with a large chicken leg.

We met the owner's brother who was working that night and he was incredibly friendly and provided great service! They ferment their own alcohol in big jars which you can see in the kitchen area and he was more than happy to discuss about his process. My personal favorite was the ginger highball and ginger spiced cocktail (essentially his own Moscow Mule).

One thing to note is that during the dinner service, the restaurant doubles as a bar so it's required to order a drink along...

It was a rainy day and I was craving curry. Billi was the nearest to me so I dropped by. This is a pretty small eatery, but the owner is warm-hearted and kind. There are also English menus available. Here, there are mainly two dishes - a soup curry or keema curry. I got the soup curry (¥1300) which was not spicy. The aroma and fragrance of the spices used came through strongly. However, this reminded me more of an Indian style curry rather than Japanese as it did not have a sweetness to it. I also liked how tender the chicken thigh was.
