Hotel Trend Asakusa Annex — Hotel in Tokyo

If you’re looking for an affordable stay that puts you steps away from buzzing restaurants and nightlife, this small hotel is a perfect pick. It’s light on frills but heavy on convenience, offering a no-fuss base for explorers who want to spend more on experiences than accommodations.  Tucked into a lively neighborhood, it’s surrounded by a number of cafes, restaurants, bars and convenience stores—all within a 1-2 minute walk, basically everything is right at your doorstep. The area feels vibrant but safe, with popular temples and public transit (a metro station just 5-10 minutes away) makes it easy to venture farther afield.  The hotel is room was small and compact but spotless, with a comfortable bed, AC ,curtains, and a sleek ensuite bathroom (hot shower + good water pressure!).The basics like a TV, free Wi-Fi, and a small desk were provided. The lack of clutter and modern minimalist design made the space feel fresh, not cramped. The bed is just good enough for two regular adults and a small kids.While amenities are limited, they cover the essentials: 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and free amenities refills at the front desk.The staff were friendly and efficient. Great location for exploring Asakusa and surrounds, conveniently close to a Tokyo Metro station as well. Keep in mind though, the other more happening parts of Tokyo (Shinjuku, Harajuku, Shibuya, Roppongi) are some distance away (about half an hour by public transport), so how convenient it is for you will depend on what you have planned for your trip.|We found the hotel itself clean and comfortable enough. Hotel staff were polite and helpful. Bear in mind though, there is no lift, so you had better be prepared to carry your luggage up/down stairs. Having said that, we had left our luggage with them while we wandered the area for a few hours before check in time, and returned to find that the staff had kindly brought our luggage to our rooms already.|While the room itself didn't get much in the way of street noise, odd noises seemed to come through the ducts, wherever they were connected to, as if people were splashing around in a pool and moving things..|The hotel does have free WiFi, and we found that it worked consistently...
