Delightful little bistro in Omotesando. If you’re looking for something a little less casual but not too formal or too posh, Couplet will fit the bill. The food and service are excellent, and the wine pairing recommendations well suited. We went with the course which was excellent value which is why I rated this place so highly. Tokyo has some of the world’s best restaurants but yen for yen this place over achieves. No doubt it’s a bistro in style with charcuterie board, authentic baguettes imported from France partially finished/frozen and baked on site and obligatory cheese plates and patisserie style desserts, but everything is a little stepped up which makes you feel spoiled for around ¥10,000.
