We came here to have something different while we were visiting Japan. The food looked really good from the pictures we saw so we thought we would give it a try. The workers spoke little to no English, which is fine because there are other ways to communicate and get around that. They had another guy come to help because he could understand us better. 2 of us got pizzas and my wife got their version of cacio e pepe. The food was disappointingly mediocre. We asked the waitress for some water and she came back 15 min later with another pizza thinking that's what we asked her for. Read moreOur waitress was really bad (and my friend speaks Japanese so that's not the problem). Unhelpful, inattentive, spent much of her time texting on her phone instead of walking by her tables and taking care of customers.
With a better waitress I would have given them 4 stars. It's fine - perfectly acceptable, but not really special in any way. We got the cioppino and something else. I forget what it was, but we ended up sharing the cioppino as the other dish wasn't that great.

The dough is very fluffy and fresh. If you like a bit of spice, I definitely suggest drizzling the chilli oil on top. The servers were very helpful and friendly.
