Read moreI was hesitant to try Indian food in Japan, but I was getting homesick and needed the taste of some dosa and sambar. I had heard Indian food in Japan lacks flavor and spice as it caters more toward a Japanese palate, but I didn't find this to be the case. I thought the sambar was one of the best I had ever had, on the thicker side which is my favorite. It had the perfect amount of spice and the dosa set arrived in minutes. I was super impressed.
The avocado salad was also really good, I was expecting not to like it but I found I liked it better than the dosa part of the dosa set. Next time I would order the avocado salad dosa because that sounded really interesting and fun.
My partner got the palak paneer and naan, which was also perfect. For Indian food, this place veers less on the greasy side, which can be a good thing for sure.
We also met and spoke with who I think was the owner and he was so friendly and nice! It was a great...
Read moreThe food was great but the service was horrible… Our server left mid order then came back 15-20 minutes later with food. But only the order of one person? This was the strangest experience I’ve had when ordering food. I got the 2 curry set but had to order the drink that goes with it after he brought the food. After he came back we were finally able to order my partners food. Now while we waited on his order, my food sat there and got cold by the time his food arrived. They also forgot about my drink again so I had to ask again. After this the server didn’t seem very friendly the rest of the night. I don’t know what happened. He spoke English but just wasn’t very polite and ignored my partners order. Not very happy with that and it made the dining experience tense. The food was good, but expect sweet curry. Hopefully if you go here, you’ll get better service than...
