Cafe du Riche — Restaurant in Tokyo

We loved it here so much that we came back every day (10 days) for breakfast/brunch and sometimes even for dinner during the time we stayed in the area.

The food is amazing and they have a really big (and cheap!!!) selection. I loved their matcha latte and pasta. The bulgogi sandwich, French toast and their tteokbokki with pizza were amazing as well and my friends loved them.

The Café is also really big and our group of 5 had a table every day and time we came which is not as common in Japan as in other countries. We had to search a lot some days to find something big enough. The staff is also super friendly and speaks very good English which made ordering super easy. The good also came pretty fast every time :D

We'll definitely come back if we're ever in...

Totally unclear why this place only ranks a 3.8! It is fantastic! Contrary to another reviewer this IS a breakfast place and they accepted credit cards. I had the red bean paste toast for breakfast. What a treat. It was toasted to perfection and a little sweet but on New Year's morning it was delicious. My wife got the sweet potato cheese toast. It was wonderfully savory with just a little bit of sweet from the potato. My sister in law got the French toast. The egg was a beautiful deep yellow with wonderful fresh whipped cream. We had two cafe lattes and one hazelnut latte and they were deliciously made by the barista. We'll be back again next time we're in Okubo!! Thank you for a fantastic New Year's...

Such a great find on New Year’s Day. What’s not to like about ice cream for breakfast! We tried the French Toast with homemade whipped cream and caramel sauce, the sweet potato cheese toast and the sweet red bean paste toast topped with ice cream. All delicious.
