Caffè Veloce - Ikebukuro West Entrance — Restaurant in Tokyo

We happened to stop here to wait for the rain to subside. 'Caffe Veloce' is located in Ikebukuro next to other eateries. A simple coffee shop that serves pastries, and different coffee tea, or lattes. Staff are friendly. Service is fast. Their coffees are good. The cafe has plenty of tables to sit and lounge. Also, good for groups if you come with them but this cafe is busy. I noticed a lot of loners just having their dessert, coffee or tea while using their computers or reading a book. Good place to meet others and to chat with them....

The coffee itself isn't bad, the girls were kind and quick, they made a mistake with a mocha coffee but they realized it and immediately changed it. It is very difficult to find a place to sit because many stop with their PCs or books, or phones, even if there are many tables.

Unfortunately I asked for an espresso with soy milk, but they don't have soy milk, like many cafes I'm visiting in Tokyo. It's very strange given that here they make many products with soy. However...

Cafe Veloce - Got to love the ever friendly faces behind the counter that makes great coffees and royal tea.

The sandwiches are run of the mill.

I guess it's just nice sitting here and watching the world...
