When we first came to this bar on 16 May, we had an amazing time. The main bartender June San was amazing!! We even were able to bring a big group of people to support the bar. However, the women bartender on yesterday (Friday) was rude. My husband and i brought drinks yesterday and finished our drinks. She asked if we wanted more, we said no thank you and paid. However, we didnt leave just yet because the rest of our friends were still drinking or finishing up thier drinks. She basically came to us and told us it was rude for us to not order another drink. Two lady staff on Thursday night. One left as we got there but the other was really nice and we had really fun conversation. There wasn’t anyone else at the bar but I think that’s what makes it so special when you can chat with a local bartender. She didn’t speak much English so we had to communicate via translate. Drinks were $800+ but there was no cover which was nice. The bar itself has been open for 20+ years but they recently went through new ownership. Golden Gai isn’t someplace I would go often but it was nice to check out this spot...
