HUB — Restaurant in Tokyo

Hub is probably the most popular (not that are many out there) Irish pub chain in Japan.

What I like about this particular Hub spot is that, unlike most of the Hubs, is located on the second floor (Japanese count ground floor as first floor) instead of the usual basement level. Therefore, you actually get some natural light inside.

It's a NO Smoking venue, so you will not smell like an ashtray when ye get out.

They have decently priced drinks (starting from 400 Japanese Yen), quite a wide variety, and snack (I like the fries and shrimp most), including pizza.

Food was terrible. Chicken macnuggets are better than their chicken/fish. Frozen shepherds pie is better than theirs. Everything is bland, and then smothered in pepper.

Customer service is the worst though!

Ordered an overpriced Apperol Spritz, and it was terrible. And they had zero desire to make it better because I had a sip to taste it. I told the cashier that the drink is undrinkable and it's the most expensive drink on the menu, and he was rude and...

A hostess came by with a tray of one-third-filled shot glasses with a strawberry on top and asked us if we want to try.

We said yes as they looked like free samples and she pointed to the menu showing us a similar shot on the menu (which was 500yen) and then said we have to pay 600yen (each) if we try them.
