My wife and I went to Cellar Door yesterday and had a great time. It was quiet when we arrived so we had a chance to chat with Urushidani-san about all things wine. He is the Senior Sommelier and Sales Manager and has a great knowledge of wine one of the things in life I am truly passionate about. There are some amazing wines and unlike many wine shops in Tokyo they are very reasonably priced. We bought a bottle of Tignanello and went to the restaurant which opened at 1600 hrs and ordered a charcuterie platter and some cheese to have with the wine. Even had a glass with Urushidani-san! The whole experience was great from start to finish. This place is a bit tricky to find as it is in the back of the building and one has to go down an "alley" to find it. If you make the effort this is one of the best ways one can while away an afternoon in Tokyo....
