カウンター席のみのラーメン店で、木彫の内装で清潔に保たれています。入口の券売機でチケットを先払いで購入します。人の入りが少ない時間帯で利用したこともありますが、着席してからラーメンが給仕されるまであまり時間はかからず、注文してから比較的すぐにラーメンを食べることが出来ます。 スタッフの接客態度は可もなく不可もなくですが、不手際で大きな音が出た時に非礼を詫びる言葉はありませんでした（求めるわけではありませんが）。琥珀色のスープのさっぱりとした味わいですが、ラーメンの器の大きさと比較すると、価格はやや高いようにも思います。九段下界隈は多くの飲食店が建ち並びますので、飲食店の1つと考えればいいかと思います。

(2023年7月2日訪問、4回目) 鶏ガラの優しいスープ…で終わるわけがない。特製唐辛子の香唐(シャントウ)が秀逸な田中そば店の中華そば。

特製唐辛子の香唐(シャントウ)に関する口コミを読んでから、いてもたってもいられなくなり、訪問してきました。店内の香唐(シャントウ)の説明書きには、「最初のひと口は甘く、後から来る辛さ!! ラーメンにもごはんにも合います！」とあります。実際に試しましたが、確かにその通りでした。(ごはんは試してないけど。)
