Tourist Beware - Rude waitress staff caused pregnant wife to cry

Ordered my meal through the QR code with a juice for my wife. Waitress then berated my wife to order a meal because she had a drink.

After seeing my wife visibly cry, she continued to berate my wife (loudly - causing a scene) to order a meal. We tried to order salad roll (displayed on menu in front of restaurant) but told not available.

I finished my meal quickly (food was good) and we left immediately.

I don’t understand why you cannot just order a drink…..waitress then made comments at us while leaving.

Tourist beware...

one of the best Thai restos in Tokyo. my favorite is the tomyum pork ramen, but most of the things i tried there were superb. i understand though what other people commented about the unfriendly staff :)

updated March 2021: today’s lunch was not as good. the fried rice i ordered was soggy. the glassnoodle salad looked like a leftover. and then the problem with unfriendly female staff, too bad...

My favorite thai restaurant in Japan. Reasonably priced authentic thai food. From time to time they change the chef and you can tell that the taste changes slightly.
