In all my years, I can count only a handful of blissful moments that I hold dear and often revisit in my mind. My dining experience at Ishida-san's establishment has undeniably secured a place among them. I left with an absolute satisfaction. Never before have I encountered such an overwhelming sense of complete satisfaction from every delicacy within the confines of a restaurant. Regrettably, residing in California restricts my ability to savor its delights at will. Nevertheless, this bittersweet realization fuels my anticipation for future visits to Tokyo specifically to Ishida-san's culinary heaven once again. The moment I stepped foot into Ishida-san's fine dining Japanese restaurant, I was instantly transported into a surreal realm. The meticulous attention to detail exhibited by Ishida-san and his remarkable staff was truly unparalleled. Each dish was a work of art, masterfully crafted to awaken the senses and ignite a profound appreciation for the essence of Japanese cuisine for a first time visitor like myself. The presentation alone was a feast for the eyes that evoked a sense of harmony, tranquility and gratitude. Beyond the sheer brilliance of the cuisine, the impeccable service provided by Ishida-san's staff was a testament to their commitment to creating an unforgettable experience. As I reluctantly bid farewell to Ishida-san's establishment, a mixture of gratitude and longing enveloped me. Gratitude for having had the privilege to partake in such an extraordinary culinary adventure, and longing for the day when I would have the opportunity to return and immerse myself once again in Ishida-san's culinary mastery. It is a place of culinary pilgrimage, and whenever Tokyo beckons, I shall eagerly make my way to Ishida-san's doorsteps, ready to be enthralled and enchanted once more.

Japanese seasonal course meal with handmade oden as a finisher. Smaller place with a cozy at-home feel so it’s good for a relaxing Japanese dinner. Good for couples, friends, workmates, etc. Will be back!

Absolutely amazing experience. Went there for omakase, which basically means the chef chooses and brings out dishes for you.

It was a fantastic experience with delicious food paired with good wine and sake. The chef is extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

Delicious food, a friendly chef in a nice cozy setting.

No English menu, but google translate takes care of that, and the chef and staff were very helpful despite us not speaking Japanese.

Highly...
