Tucked away in the stylish neighborhood of Daikanyama, GARDEN HOUSE CRAFTS is a lovely café and bakery that’s perfect for a relaxing morning or brunch stop.

They offer plate sets, but we highly recommend skipping straight to their baked goods and pastries—everything we tried was delicious, but the melon bread was the absolute standout! Soft, sweet, and just the right texture.

Their café latte was smooth and comforting, and the homemade ginger ale was super refreshing—especially in the morning heat. A bit on the pricier side, but definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

The only downside? The wait. Even though seating was available, the line moved slowly. There’s one register each for eat-in and takeout, but during busy hours the flow gets a bit chaotic, especially when customers order both to-go and eat-in in one go.

If you're visiting in summer, try to grab a seat inside or by the big outdoor ventilator—it gets warm early, and some shade + breeze...

We visited this place on a Saturday around 1 PM. The wait to order and get our food was a bit long, but it was understandable since the ordering counter inside was quite small.

We got a latte and a hot coffee—both were delicious and just right for us! The prices were reasonable too. They have a great selection of bread, both for dining in and takeaway. If you’re ordering to go, there’s a separate line, which was much faster.

The outdoor seating area had a really nice vibe, especially in the winter—it felt so cozy! There were plenty of seats outside, making it a great spot to relax.

Had breakfast at Garden House Crafts for the first time, and it was such a treat! They have an amazing selection of pastries—both sweet and savory—fresh out of the oven. Everything looked so good, it was hard to choose! I ended up trying a buttery croissant and a savory quiche, and both were absolutely delicious. You can tell they put a lot of love into their baking. Their coffee is also good.
