Go Go Curry Ueno Okachimachi Shop — Restaurant in Tokyo

I went here to have my brunch, and I would say that it's worth it. It was 11 am when I had my meal, and there weren't a lot of people yet, the place is also spacious.

They have lots of food choices which you can order through the machine near the door. I ordered the small serving of their chicken katsu curry and added an extra cheese, it didn't disappoint as it is tasty. The serving is quite big for me, which made me really full but all good.

This branch is near Okachimachi station and is a walking distance to Ameyoko. I will definitely eat here again when I go...

It's pretty hard to beat GoGo curry. I got the Grand Slam curry "Major Curry" in Japanese for some reason. This was actually the "economy" size but it's massive. For just 1,000 JPY. The tonkatsu was perfectly crispy and delicious as was the shrimp tempura. The boiled eggs were sliced and cold but everything else was warm. Always love Go Go Curry since my first Japan trip! The curry sauce is darker than most curry restaurant. But it is defninitely more delicious. This branch and the one in ikebukuro serve less oily tonkatsu, from my personal experience. You have to try the larger portion if you are into curry. Oh and you can ask for more cabbage for free too.
