First off ,im an ex-smoker..[25 years)the only way a person can quit cigarettes is that you have to learn to hate them.japan has come a long way in reducing public smoking.however bars are an exception. This is a small establishment.if 20 people were here it would be shoulder to shoulder.so if 1 person is smoking,it is shared with everybody.the staff was great.the decor was interesting. Mostly japanese metal festival posters with the festival band lineups.the music was very mainstream metal, however a request was quickly played.half of the crowd was local, the other half american and european.it was very easy to meet people and have a conversation.ii will be back in tokyo 1 year from now.hopefully politicians can enact laws that are in step with the rest of the planet that protects people that care about themselves from people that do not.if you dont care about yourself.how are you going to care...

Was disappointed by our experience - felt like they didn’t want us there (when I asked whether I could request songs, they kept insisting I order drinks first which I obviously intended to do but it felt weird they kept pushing) and they were honestly quite rude to me in general when I was ordering drinks so it killed the vibe for us

I ordered a beer which costs 1000 yen, a bit steep, but I was alright with that, however, when they gave me my change I noted that they that it seemed like both bartenders were s bit nervous so I double checked and they had given me 8000 yen back on a 10 000 yen bill, I pointed it out and it took some arguing in japanese to get them to give me the correct change. Note that this bar does not have a seating charge so that's not what happened here. Guess another has bitten the scams in kabukicho dust and I'll...
