Ordering is simple: buy a ticket from the vending machine at the entrance before taking your seat. No Japanese speaking skills are required, but the vending machine displays Japanese text. Just use Google Lens to translate. Also, note that it only accepts cash.

If you find yourself craving more noodles while eating, you can request an extra serving (kaedama) by handing 150 yen in cash to the chef and saying: "Kaedama kudasai" Just pronounce it as written, and the staff will understand.

2号店は初訪問。店外に列はなく、満席でもない様子だったのでチケットを購入して店内に入りました。テーブルの片付けがまだだったようで、一番若い男性店員さんが「何名様ですか？今片付けますので少々お待ちください」と。すると恰幅の良い女性店員さんがやや圧強めの感じで「お呼びしますので外でお待ちください」と。言われるままに外に出て待つも１分も掛からず店内に呼び戻される。呼ばれるまで店外で待つというようなルールは何処にも書いてなかったかと思いますし、テーブルを片付ける僅かの間、入口の中のところで2人で立って待っていたとしても別にお仕事の邪魔になるようでもなかったはず。それでもわざわざ一旦外に出させて待たせる意味とは一体？それだけの力量の有る無しに拘らずとにかく自分がその場をコントロールしてるつもりでいないと気が済まないってタイプの店員さんか、この手の店員さんって面倒くさくて苦手だなぁと思いながら着席。肝心のラーメンは美味しいは美味しかったものの、提供にやけに時間が掛かった割りにはスープがかなり温くて、替え玉の時にはすっかり冷めてしまっていたのが残念でした。次はまたいつもみたいに一号店に行って...
