I have been here three times (and will come more). The sandwich are really good and you can clearly see that they are made by a person that really likes what he is doing. As a person that loves sandwich I can say that everything is perfect from the bread that is toasted to the ingredients inside that are fresh and delicious. The decoration in my opinion was on point as the place is a bit small and it gives a cozy feeling to the atmosphere (specially for non-japanese people). Even the bathroom decoration is really cool. The atmosphere is really chill with people coming to this place to have a good time with friends. One of the strong points of the place (and my favourite) is Harry as he will welcome you at the entrance and make you feel home. Everytime I go I'm sure to give a little tip for the trip they are planning and I would encourage to you do the same if you really enjoyed the service. The place hosts some events regularly that are really enjoyable.
If you are in Harajuku, pay a visit to this place as you will not regret it...
Read moreSuch a disappointing experience from start to finish. When we walked in there were 3 free tables , some with cups on them that needed to be cleared . We were asked to stand and wait for them to be cleared which took an inordinate amount of time , I think the waiter must have been hungover or sick. When we finally sat down no one gave us a menu, after another few minutes we had to ask for the menu. We ordered one coffee au lait - DO NOT order the coffee here there is no taste off it, I requested the waiter to take it back as it was just milk . He We ordered straight from the menu, nothing complicated, 2 sandwiches. 3 tables that came in after us were all served their food first. When I asked what was happening I was just told “it can take different amounts of time”. We waited 45mins for a half decent sandwich, tater tots were nice . Chicken was very poor quality . Maybe we just got...
Read moreThis was an unexpected gem found right off of Harajuko (Takeshita Dori). It is located in a narrow alley on the 3rd Floor. If you're looking for "western" comfort food I recommend Harry's. I was pleasantly surprised to find vegan options (pretty difficult in japan). The vegan meatball sandwich tasted great! My wife had the grilled cheese with mushrooms and tomatoes- she only wanted a bite and was going to take the rest to our hotel. That sandwich stood no chance as she was done with her meal before me. Not only is Harry great at what he does; but he has created an inviting atmosphere at his establishment. Our 30 min planned stop turned into 3 hours of getting to know the locals at his shop and sharing stories. Our only regret is that we did not find Harry's sooner. Future Tokyo trips will not be complete without...
