Hidakaya Ikebukuro — Restaurant in Tokyo

A very disappointing experience.

First of all, I’ve always been a big fan of Hidakaya’s food. I’ve eaten at many of their locations across Tokyo and often recommend it to my wife. Yesterday, my wife and I went to Hidakaya with our 4-year-old child, and we encountered a somewhat overweight male staff member with slightly long hair who was quite unfriendly. Initially, he didn’t allow us to take a seat, saying he needed to clean the dishes from the previous table. The three of us stood there waiting, and even after he finished, he didn’t invite us to sit down until we asked him.

After that, he refused to let us push two tables together, forcing the three of us to eat at two completely separate tables, which was very inconvenient, especially with a child. We were so uncomfortable that we asked another female staff member if we could combine the tables, and she agreed. However, when the male staff member saw this, he still insisted that we separate the tables. When I asked him why, he finally told us to wait while he moved another table of customers and then switched us to a four-person table. To this day, I still don’t understand his reasoning.

After we got up, he forcefully pushed the chairs back into place, which made me feel very uncomfortable. My child was also a bit frightened, and my wife’s opinion of Hidakaya has been negatively impacted. Although she mentioned afterward that the food was still delicious, this staff member’s behavior made her feel disrespected, and she doesn’t think she’ll be dining...

【2508訪問】 ピリ辛豚骨つけ麺

店頭ポスターで期間限定メニューの豚骨つけ麺をみかけて訪問。平日14時30分頃で空席あり。

10分弱で着丼。具材は麺丼に刻みチャーシュー/メンマ/ワカメ、つけ汁にネギ。つけ汁をひと口。豚骨スープに辛味噌とラー油を加えたそうですが想像通りの味です。麺は野菜たっぷりタンメン等と同様の平打ち太麺。ワカメがミスマッチな印象。経験として一度いただけば自分は満足。ご馳走さまでした。

This restaurant is a low-priced Chinese restaurant, which is common in the Kanto region.I ordered the tsukemen, which is only available for a limited time.The soup is pork bone broth with chili oil and hot miso added.I had the impression that the wakame seaweed as an ingredient did not match the soup.

【2407訪問】 野菜たっぷりタンメン 細麺変更

久しぶりにシンプルなタンメンが食べたくなり平日昼過ぎに訪問。待ちなしながらほぼ満席。タブレットで注文し店員さんに口頭で細麺変更をお願いしました。タブレットだと細かいお好みを伝えるのに勇気がいりますね。

5分程で着丼。いつもより野菜が多めでボリューム満点。軽く胡椒を振っていただきます。やはり細麺の方が好み。ご馳走さまでした！

【2203訪問】 野菜たっぷりタンメン 細麺 クーポン大盛

先日のチゲ味噌ラーメンで細麺注文が可能と知りタンメンで試そうと訪問。昼過ぎで余裕の待ち無し。

前客の注文が立て込んでいたのか10分程で到着。見た目はいつも通りのタンメンです。強いて言えば丼にロゴが追加されているくらい。天地返しすると通常の平打麺よりスムーズな気がします。野菜と一緒に麺を手繰るとこれまた掴みやすいし、食べてもスープがよく絡む気がします。最早気のせいな感も否めませんが個人的には細麺の方がアリに思います。いずれ通常注文した時に違いを覚えているかは定かではありませんが、次に平打麺で余程の違和感を感じたら今後は細麺注文にしても良いかも。とりあえず野菜たっぷりで今回も美味しかったです。ご馳走さまでした。

I ordered "tanmen" with thinner noodles than usual. "Tanmen" is a salt-flavored ramen with stir-fried vegetables on top. The thin noodles made it easier for me to taste the soup more clearly.

【2202訪問】 そういえば今年の冬はまだ日高屋のチゲ味噌ラーメンを食べてなかったと思い出し訪問。昼時ながら待ち無し。並んでいても回転も早いのがチェーン店の良いところでもあります。そんなこんなでモリモリサービス券を利用して大盛を注文です。

程なく到着。ほぼ1年振りです。冬季限定ながら日向坂46の齋藤京子さんが1番好きなラーメンに挙げるほどの人気メニュー。炒めたニラ/白菜キムチ/玉ねぎを溶き卵でとじたピリ辛の味噌ラーメンで、麺はタンメンと同様の平打麺です。味付けは結構濃いめ。通常の中太麺で食べてみたいと思い調べてみると細麺といえば対応してくれるみたいですね。他に麺硬めや辛めも出来るようです。今年の販売期間が終了するまでに細麺をトライしてみようと思います。ご馳走さまでした。

寒い日にぴったりのメニューです。この日はスープを煮詰め過ぎたのか少し濃い味でしたが美味しかったです。

先日、久しぶりに中華料理店に行ってきました。餃子、半ちゃーん（半チャーハン）、そして油そばを注文しました。店内は活気があって、期待が高まるばかりでした。

注文してからしばらく待たされましたが、料理が運ばれてきたときの喜びはひとしおでした。まず、餃子は外はパリッと、中はジューシーで、具材の旨味が口いっぱいに広がりました。半ちゃーんは、ちょうどいい量で、香ばしい炒め具合が絶妙でした。そして、油そばはその濃厚な味わいとモチモチの麺が最高でした。少しピリ辛のタレが食欲をそそり、ついつい夢中になってしまいました。

確かに、提供が少し遅かったのは残念でしたが、それを補って余りある美味しさでした。そして、何よりもコスパが素晴らしい！このクオリティでこの値段は、本当にお得だと思います。腹も心も満たされ、大満足の食事体験となりました。また近いうちに、友人や家族と一緒に訪れたいです。

次回は他のメニューも試してみたいし、またあの餃子と油そばを味わいたいです。やっぱり美味しいものを食べると、元気が出ますね。食事の楽しさを再確認できた素...
