Books and Coffee Fukuroshosabo — Restaurant in Tokyo

I really love the ambiance of this place. It feels like I'm in a library and it really makes you want to sit down and read a book. The place was very spacious. There were no tables available when we went. But there were several free spaces on the area that looks like a cubicle in a library. I really loved it. We decided to sit there instead of waiting for a table. I ordered a Hot Latte & Pancake. The food was okay. Will try another food from their menu next time. Definitely recommended for those who wants a cafe with a relaxing vibe.

The atmosphere and the food are pretty good, but the service was severely lacking. From the time I ordered my food to when it was delivered was over 40 minutes and not during a peak time as there were lots of empty seats everywhere. When I did receive my food they did not bring it out in the order I had asked and the refused additional butter as my butter had melted into my pancake in the time it took to eat my lunch. Not very great service and sort of a moodkiller for the whole experience. What a shame as it looked like they put a lot of effort into this place just for it to be wasted by less than...

I had the quiche and the iced fruit tea. Both were exquisite! I loved the textures and flavors. I could tell from the moment I cut into the quiche that it'd be good, and I couldn't recommend the tea enough~ The staff were pleasant as well.

They do not refill your water, though! It's unclear whether you can go and refill it yourself. The water was in some pitchers next to drying cups by the entrance, so we filled our waters by ourselves. The atmosphere around doing so was unclear, as that may have been only for the workers to touch? If you're quite thirsty, I recommend bringing your own water...
