HOMEBASE TOKYO — Restaurant in Tokyo

I recently had the displeasure of visiting Homebase, a small club/bar in Azabu Juban. I was very disappointed with my experience.

First of all, the drinks are extremely expensive. I ordered a simple cocktail and it cost me over 2,000 yen. The staff also don't do a good job of explaining the drinks. When I asked the bartender what was in a particular cocktail, he just shrugged and said "it's a secret."

The food is also way too overpriced.

Finally, the place is way too loud. The music is so loud that you can't have a normal conversation with your friends.

Overall, I would not recommend Homebase to anyone. The drinks are too expensive, the staff is unhelpful, the food is overpriced, and the place is too loud.

Awesome bar in Tokyo! The atmosphere is indeed true to the name, very cozy and home-like. The drinks were awesome - I'm sure you will find something you like.
