Made reservations on a Sunday 8pm. We couldn't find anyone working at the restaurant for 10 minutes. Went upstairs came downstairs, rang a bell, nothing. Then a woman appeared and sat us down. We placed a few orders, 2 veggie skewers, 1 chicken skewer, and some sashimi, along with a drink each for me and my wife. Our drinks came out immediately, but Literally 50mins passed and we only were served 1 veggie skewer. We were getting irritated that they were too lax about service and the although just yakitori it doesn't take nearly and hour to grill a few pieces of veggies and chicken, it definitely doesn't take nearly an hour to serve some sashimi. I'm surprised as so many of the yakitori restaurants around here are so good. Also there were 11 tables and only 3 occupied including us, probably they were too busy serving the upstairs to care about anyone on the first floor. The chicken yakitori was cold when it finally got to us. What a...

I recently visited this casual izakaya located right near Shinbashi Station with three former colleagues for a friendly get-together. The organizer chose this place, but I was a bit worried after seeing many critical comments on Google Maps reviews.
The private room was for four people, but it was quite cramped, with our shoulders touching each other, and there was no space for our bags. The two Chinese staff members were not very friendly and were rough when serving dishes, but not to the extent of warranting a complaint.
Since it was a Friday, we had a course with a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option (no sake included) for 4,000 yen per person. The food was generally better than expected, with the duck carpaccio, rolled omelette with dashi, chicken nanban, and roast beef being particularly delicious. However, the portions were on the smaller side. The dessert cake was bite-sized, which made us laugh a bit.
Considering the convenient location near the station, the reasonable price, and the decent taste of the food, as well as the fact that we had a private room despite it being cramped, I give this...
