Of all my dining experiences, this was the worst. I visited this restaurant because of the good reviews, but the dining experience I had was very disappointing. Most of the staff were Chinese, and their service attitude was extremely poor, lacking the politeness typically seen in Japanese staff. The restaurant even allowed smoking inside, which was off-putting, as the smell from the neighboring table completely ruined my appetite. Out of six additional orders, only three were served. The menu was only in Japanese, making it incomprehensible for tourists. When we asked the staff about the menu, they only inquired which parts of the beef we disliked to help us avoid them, without explaining what the menu actually said. When serving the basic platter, the staff didn’t explain which meats were included. During ordering, they only asked which meats from the basic platter we didn’t want, leading us to believe the basic platter included all the menu items. We paid for Wagyu beef but had no idea if we actually got it. The staff were also dishonest; when we pointed to specific items on the menu to order after we translated it, they served something completely different. We ordered more expensive items like seafood, but they never arrived. Did they think they could easily fool us just because we were tourists? We will never...
Read moreI’m excited to share this restaurant with you because my friends visiting from out of town had a wonderful dining experience here.
This is my second time at this yakiniku restaurant. I went with a friend who can’t eat beef, and we tried the cheapest 2980 yen course without Wagyu. The meat was so delicious I almost thought it was Wagyu, haha. The balance of fat and lean meat was perfect for one bite. In this 2980 yen course, I especially liked the pork belly with green onions, the beef heart, chicken neck meat, and the spicy pork belly—they were all very tasty.
As for the service, even though it was a busy Saturday, the staff was very friendly and spoke English (it’s best to use the bell to call for service). Communication was smooth, and the process was clear. Whether as an all-you-can-eat restaurant or just a regular restaurant, their service was excellent.
(The 5980 yen Wagyu course I tried the first time was absolutely delicious! The Wagyu was very fresh, and each cut had its unique flavor.)
Finally, I have to say that the 2980 yen course is such a great deal, and I had a...
Read moreHad a bad dining experience. The waitress seems unpleasant of us ordering the cheapest set, and the service was so poor it ruined my appetite.
Most servers speaks Mandarin and we do too, but they don’t bother to explain to us on how or what to order, knowing we can’t understand the Japanese menu.
When finishing we forget to order for the desserts included in our set, before going we asked for it and they do served them. The only thing is when serving, the waitress said we should ask for the dessert when our last order, and other place won’t serve the dessert if we asked like this and they were kind to serve us the dessert. I rather they don’t serve us the desserts and not get “educated” by the waitress.
My only poor dining experience of my trip in Osaka and Tokyo of 11 days. Wont recommend and totally...
