Kissako — Restaurant in Tokyo

A great cafe by a passionate guy! A cute listening cafe tucked away in a street close to Jimbocho. While I'm no jazz expert, the tunes played allowed me to get that break I needed after walking all afternoon. The music is playing with in the background the sound of the coffee machine. There is a tatami room upstairs but don't you worry anywhere in the cafe the sound of jazz is perfectly audible. You can tell that the owner is a music fein as even the bathroom have a quality speakers!! This attention to detail was also in the drinks and foods. I ordered a houjicha tea set, enough to fill in three cups. It also came with little sweets. I didn't know that so I ordered a cheesecake with it and it was really good: flavorful but had creaminess despite the usual dryness of cheesecakes. He grows his own mint that he used to garnish...

I ordered a cup of coffee and a cheese cake. The owner was not welcoming me at all, not knowing the reason.

I dont understand why all comments for this coffee shop are good. I had a terrible experience here compared to other shops in Japan.

They offer a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a cup of well-balanced coffee. The coffee had a nice depth, with a smooth bitterness that lingered pleasantly.
