KURAUZO ハンバーグ&ステーキ食堂 — Restaurant in Tokyo

Hands down, one of the best places to have steak if you're in this part of Tokyo. Very delicious steak and affordable. We came here twice. First time for the hamburger steak and second time for the steak. Hamburger steak was good. A little overboard on the tomato sauce but still delish. The steaks are the best no matter which you pick. Note the waiters will not ask you on how you want your steak to be cooked unless you request and they’ll do it for you. Otherwise they’ll cook it well done. I had my steak medium rare and it did not disappoint. Service was great and the place has a nice atmosphere like you’re in a real steakhouse. Note that it is located on the second floor of the building and there’s a sign that guides you up the stairs. There is no elevator to get up....

I had the 350g skirt steak. They didn’t ask for a temperature however they cooked it a perfect medium rare, so no complaints from me. The service was also very good and they do have an English menu.

The server did recommend we season the steak with salt and pepper which we did and it was very good. It also came with some ginger steak sauce and soy sauce which when mixed together was very delicious with the steak. The only reason for a lack of 5 stars is that this is very good but not the absolute best I’ve had. If you want low cost but decent steak this is the place for you. They only have menus in Japanese, but the options are fairly straightforward. They have normal steak, hamburger steak, and a combination of the two. You don't get to choose how cooked you want your steak but it seems like the steaks are cooked to medium.
