MARUZEN Café 日本橋店 — Restaurant in Tokyo

We came here after a full day of walking and mild dehydration, and were pleasantly surprised to find this delightful cafe on the 3rd floor of this bookstore. There are savory dishes like curry and omurice, but also sweets like waffles and soft serve ice cream. We got the soft serve ice cream (“berry berry” and “shiratama” (white jewels versions)) which ended up being these beautiful parfaits that were super creamy and delicious, without being heavy or oversweet. It was awesome. The cafe, though well populated, was quiet and clean, and our waiter kindly came to refill our water too. We were perfectly fine and had ordered our things already however one of our 4 people didn’t want anything to eat or drink so instead of leaving it alone they came back and forced the person to order something which we didn’t do and left instead. Loss of 4...

接客がひどすぎ。 ほかのお店が混雑しているさなか、ここだけやたらと空いていましたが理由がわかりました。

入店するも無愛想な女性店員に早口で小声で何か言われる。 おそらく「好きな席へどうぞ」ということなのだろうと思い着席。 注文を取ろうと近くに待機している男性に声をかけると、とても意外そうな顔で「…………注文ですか……？」と返答してきた上に、ほかの店員に「注文とって」と役割を投げる。 ソフトクリームを頼もうとしたらメンテナンス中で提供出来ないとのこと。 そしてついでに言えば、数種あるソフトクリーム付きのワッフルのメニューもソフトクリームなしで提供するとの事。 けれど、その分の値引きはしないと説明され、元々注文するつもりはなかったけれど、「この店員何を言っているの？」と不穏に感じるのでした。

そのあと、先ほどの男性店員が間違えて他のお客さんの料理を運んで来るのでうちではないことを伝えると立ち去り際に挨拶の一言もなく料理を抱えたまま無言で立ち去る。 その際に教育係らしき随行していた眼鏡の女性店員（入店時の店員とは別）に「ちょっと」と声をかけたら駆け足で立ち去りながら「すみませーん」とだけ返事をされる。 なんでこんなに雑な扱いなの。 そのあとも入店時の女性店員に「あのー」と、声をかけるも無視。 目が合ってるのに素通り。 素通りされたので何故だろうかと思い、ちょっと観察してみた上で、男性店員に随行していた眼鏡の女性店員に再度同じように「あのー」と言って呼び止めを試みるもまたも無視。 もう嫌になったので注文できたものだけかきこんでさっさと退店しました。 退店時に無視されて嫌だったことを伝えると入店時と同じ女性店員に「ええー」とだけ言われました。 それはこっ...
