My wife and I came here for mid afternoon snack/drink when wandering through the streets of Tokyo and we were happy we did. We waited in line for 5-10 mins at 2pm before being seated. The staff was very friendly and helpful, as we do not know Japanese and were using a translator to look at the menu. One thing to note before going is that each person must order at least one drink with their order. We ordered the peach and cardamom mojito, original blend no.1 mild coffee, pancakes and tier 1 pudding. The coffee held true to its name and wasn’t too bitter or acidic, I would recommend this if you don’t like the coffee overly strong. The peach cardamom drink was very refreshing with chunks of peaches. Between the pudding and the pancakes, I liked the pudding slightly more, but both were yummy. The pudding has a syrupy coffee that you pour over the top that adds an extra punch of flavor. The pudding was actually quite thick as well so you need to put a bit of effort into cutting it with a spoon, which I liked. The pancake was soft, buttery and spongy and absorbed the syrup almost immediately. Another thing to note is that the pancakes will take 20 mins to come out, but we had no issue with that. The only reason I am giving a 4/5 is the fact that you are forced into...
Read moreWe waited 50 minutes to get in and it was anti-climatic. However the service from the waiter’s were very polite and efficient. In addition, the price for the items we purchased (in the picture) was very affordable for its quality.
Pfffft! I mean, the coffee is good, but the pancakes and the french toast that every instagrammer & tiktoker goes here for is just okay.
The pancakes are cooked fresh to order and are hot when you receive them. Fluffy inside and light, but a little plain on it’s own and not spectacular in flavour.
The french toast is caramelised on the outside and very soft on the inside, topped off with some mascarpone not overly sweet but it feels like there is something missing.
Japan are usually spot on with their desserts no matter how cheap or high end you choose, but this was the first on our 4 week trip that we did not...
Read moreOMG THIS DESSERT PLACE IS SO GOOD!! The queue number mentioned we have to wait for about 40 minutes, but end up it was quite fast that about 10 minutes we are already in. But don’t take my words too seriously because we were probably lucky on that day. And some customers also mentioned about longer queue.
Ordered French Toast and 2 dripped coffee from Ethiopia and Colombia (note: 1 drink order is compulsory here!). The toast was fantastic. Breads are so soft inside while the texture outside is crispy and caramel- like tasting. Served also with vanilla ice cream that goes very well with the toast.
Drip coffee was okay. Got some vegetable taste out of it so not that fantastic, and it is on the stronger side of scent so might not be the right place for those who are looking for complex taste notes like floral...
