Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Room: spacious but indeed hot as other reviewers say. Okay at night can imagine it’s a bit hot during summer daytime.

Gyoza: tray of four; big, slightly crispy, filling vegetable heavy and satisfying. Nice YUZU soy sauce too

Tsukemen: Got the deluxe set. Very tasty broth with strong seafood flavor. Not too sticky and a little sour but I enjoyed it a lot. Very refreshing pair with cold noodles and the fresh lime zest. For toppings i got flavored egg, mixed vegetables, chashu, and seaweed. Vegetables needed dipping but all the others were already tasty. Mild flavor on the egg. Chashu was one of the best I’ve had so far, definitely the best pork chashu in Ikebukuro so far—moist and tender, a little more of the fatty part and it would be perfect. Sea bream soup to finish off the dipping sauce was great, light and refreshing, and evened out the sourness from earlier.

Easily one of my new favorite Tokyo...

We ordered 3 noodles and an extra egg, so there are 4 tickets. After passing the tickets to the staff, he came to confirm which noodle to go with the extra egg. 2 noodles had been served and almost finished. We asked why the third one with extra egg was not served, the staff said no ticket for that. We showed the Suica record to him and then he serve the noodle without the extra egg. We asked him again and he said the egg had been served in the 2nd bowl. He made a fault again. We had to show him the order record again then he at last gave back an egg to us. The soup is quite oily and salty. The noodle texture is hard with a bit chewy. The pork Chiu siu is good. The egg yolk is not in fluid texture. It’s just a soso egg. The staff just gets out a bit citrus skin into the noodle, that doesn’t have any fresh taste to the soup. All together it is just a normal ramen, and it doesn’t deserved as 4.5 in the...
