One of the worst experiences in Japan. We left during the meal. The waiters had the most unacceptable behavior. They were rude the moment we entered to the moment we left. I don’t know how to explain the feeling other than that it felt like they did not want to serve my partner and me.

As soon as we walked in, someone at the front desk told us to sit down at a table, but there was no communication from anyone from then on. We sat ourselves down and waited for 10-15 minutes to order because the employees were too busy chatting. We couldn’t even get their attention because their backs were completely turned away from the tables and this was continuous until we left.

When we finally ordered (we ordered 2 ginger ales, an Olle salad, and a seafood set that came with egg stew and seafood pancake) and the food started coming out, they were slamming the glasses and dishes on the table. We asked for utensils and the waiter told us very condescendingly they were in the drawer where we had no way to see or know. Any time we asked them something they would respond with attitude. They placed the stew and pancake on the complete opposite side from us. I felt that it was intentional, but ignored it because, at this point, my partner and I were trying to stay positive and tell ourselves we should eat and leave because we commuted almost an hour to try this place.

The pancake was burnt on the bottom and it tasted like it was burnt. The egg soup tasted like cleaning chemicals. The worst part was the main.

The waiter started cutting the seafood aggressively and started splattering everywhere. Then they raised the heat to max and left it high boiling for over 15 minutes. My partner and I saw the exact moment the waiter glanced at our table and he realized he messed up. He panicked and asked his coworkers what he should do. He came back to our table and opened the seafood pot and there was barely any liquid in it and you could see that the bottom was burnt. He tried to play it off and started cutting the seafood for us to eat and I asked him in Korean, “Didn’t you overcook this?” and he was startled because he didn’t know I could understand everything him and his coworkers were saying. He said, “Oh yeah.. that’s why we’re going to get you more broth.”

That meant they were going to make us eat overcooked, burnt seafood.

At this point, we had enough and decided to pay and leave. They didn’t apologize to us a single time. Worst...

ディナーでうかがいました。 味は皆さんが絶賛してるように美味しかったです。 なのでぜひ行ってほしいので補足情報をお知らせします。

・お通しはアルコールを飲む飲まない関係なく300円取られます。座ると同時に置かれる芋チップスはお替りできるとのことです。ソフトドリンクの人はお替りして元取るといいかも。

・名物の凍った生ビールは、グラスが凍ってるだけで生ビールは普通です。グラスが冷たいのでむしろぬるく感じました。

・名物の四角い鍋？は2人前しか入れられないので4人で行って全員が鍋ものを頼むと四角い鍋が二つ、合体したコンロが2つになり恐ろしくテーブルが狭くなります。なので鍋は2人前だけ頼んでコースに含まれてない単品料理を頼むのがよいかも。 コースの小鉢？はお替りできるとの事です。

・写真で見ると広く見える店内ですが実際は狭いです。テーブルと椅子がぎっちぎちで満席だと通り抜けが難しいです。2人席と4人席しかなく、大人数で行くのは厳しいようです。

・夜は予約で行って飲み放題もないのに、有無も言わさず2時間制です。追い立て方が半端ないです。2時間きっちりで退出させるように接客してくるので、注文は事前に決めておいて、すぐに頼んでさっさと食べて出ていくのがベターです。ゆったりした会食の場には向きません。

・とにかく2時間で追い出されるので食べたりなくても追加注文はせず、さっさと2件目に行った方がよいです。

・なので予約無しで行っても、2時間ごとに席が空くのでそのタイミングで行けば座れそうです。(多分）
