This ramen is hands down one of the best that I have had so far here in Japan. I really love it, and I especially appreciate the flexibility in ordering. Before entering the shop, you use a touchscreen vending machine to place your order. The interface is easy to use, and there are deals available, which is a bonus. They accept both card and cash, which is super convenient.
As for the shop itself, the interior is cozy with a great ambience. Whether you're eating alone or with a few people, they have seating options to suit your needs individual spaces for solo diners and tables for groups.
The ramen itself is rich, filling, and absolutely delicious. The broth is savory and layered with flavor, and the portions are generous. Anytime I’m in the area, I make sure to stop by because I love it that much. I’m definitely a repeat customer and often recommend this place to both friends living in Japan and those just passing through.
If you’re looking for ramen that’s tasty, hearty, and packed with options, this shop in Shibuya is...
Read moreI used to come to this place quite often. Something happened to their service as with many other places in Tokyo this year. Visited on August 2 at 18:15. It is crazy hot and humid outside. They don't have any aircon or even simple ventilation inside, so it is even hotter inside. They have free iced water but they don't provide you with a cup. You have to ask for that. They have free paper cover to protect your clothes but they don't gove it to you by default - you have to ask again. So this is 2 times already to ask for essentials. The chair they tried to let me sit is dirty with drips of water or previous guest ramen. If you come alone you get the worst seat - I think this is not fair. I bring much more value to this place than random tourist. The food is still good though. On of the best ramens I had, but the service and conditions...
Read moreWe went to Oreryu Shio Ramen because of the great reviews from both locals and tourists. Since we were looking for a quick lunch we stopped here. You choose your order through the outside vending machine. For non Japanese speakers there is also someone from the staff checking. At the vending machine it is also possible to choose different noodles thickness and spicy level. We choose the Spicy Pork Ramen and Shrimp Wonton Ramen. Also, additionally we choose some Gyoza. The Spicy Pork Ramen was our favourite! Absolutely delicous! Keep in mind that this is basically a chain so the restaurant is based in quick eating. Nevertheless, would definitely recommend if your looking for a quick stop lunch/dinner and good value. Would definitely return when...
