OSAKA Kitchintokyu Plaza Shibuya — Restaurant in Tokyo

Looks chill and fancy but not worth coming if you are looking for traditional properly served okonomiyaki. Everything comes at a really really slow pace. It seems like this place is trying to imitate a French restaurant because they do not serve different dishes at the same time instead you have to finish what’s on your table in order for the next one to come. It’s bit ridiculous since everything is in small portion. So far I haven’t had anything surprisingly tasty yet. Appetizers are too ordinary to be mentioned(almost tasteless). Okonomiyaki tastes exactly like what you can get from family mart. Pricing wise. It’s a rip. They charge 900 yen for some grilled spinach which my five year old sister can make with 100yen max. I booked a reservation here for a large group of friends. There was 10 of us total and the place looked good online so I thought we’d give it a try.

We almost canceled the reservation but I’m so glad we didn’t. It’s really unassuming and seems normal but the food and the people working there are incredible!

I had, a nine or 10 course Omakase meal that was extremely unique and delicious! Two or three of the items were the best I’ve ever had, no joke. My 5 year old son ate a full plate of Kobe beef.

This place should be five stars. I will definitely come back and bookmark to recommend a friends in the future.

We just felt like part of the family there. Great service, amazing food, can’t say enough good things!

まずは前菜からスタート。ポテトサラダはバーニャカウダが効いて大人の味、セロリ浅漬けはさっぱり爽やかで焼ゴマ豆腐は焼くことで濃厚な味わい😋

そして、とん平焼きが登場。ふわふわ卵と豚肉が絶妙すぎて感動の嵐…。加えて、牛すじキャベツが食欲をそそります✨

その後は春菊サラダでリセットして、いよいよメイン！ホタテ＆イカの鉄板焼きはレモンを絞ると初夏の海が広がる味わいに！和牛サーロインは脂の甘さが口の中でとろけて、幸せすぎて思わず笑顔に。そのままでも十分美味しいですが、トリュフ塩やアッサリポン酢でいろんな風味が楽しめます❗️〆のお好み焼きはふわっふわで、ソースとマヨがアートみたいな仕上がりに🎨
