Otona no Hamburger steak — Restaurant in Tokyo

Honestly wasn’t a pleasant experience, walked in and asked us to decide to sit on counter or table, when we asked for counter, still insisted there are tables available and we should sit on table. When we went upstairs most tables are empty but the waitress insisted us to sit on the corner of the restaurant that is out of sight and too small for two people to eat. When I ordered the wagyu steak, which she confirmed exactly what I ordered but came out with the wrong order (steak with Hamburg) and asked that I accept it, so I did, steak turned out medium well (slightly pink) so if that’s your preference. Then when we want water we had to fetch ourselves because the staffs were busy talking to each other. If it was one thing I think it was fine but considering the price I think service can be better. I just hope it wasn’t because we are tourists because we tried to be respectful at...

Was hungry and walked past this place that looked rather interesting and there wasn't a queue and there were available seats so we gave it a shot. We were recommended their signature hamburg steak with rice and that's what we went for. The meat was cooked very precisely and carefully and it showed in the taste, with a slight char on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside. The wait staff were not very conversant in English but tried their best to advice us how to consume the food in the most enjoyable way. Surprised by the quality and taste of this small little joint. We also tried their egg custard which came highly recommended and it was also very good....

The grilled black beef and garlic toast combo is a great appetizer and highly recommended! The hamburger steak was a bit on the rare side, caution to those who like their meat well done. Still, the egg, onion sauce and 100% beef was great, but M-size (180g) is a bit too small to satisfy my appetite...
