I don’t think there is possibly a better themed space, let alone a better Peanuts-themed restaurant in the world. Every aspect of the experience is themed, and just when you thought you saw it all, you find another detail that ties into Peanuts. Well done, hats off to the owner and designers. Adding to the visual delight, the quality of service and food also impresses — and equally so. Purchasing food to eat in-store gets you a 90-minute table, which there are plenty of if you need a rest break from the Tokyu Plaza nearby or Uniqlo upstairs (this plaza has no outside seating to speak of). The dessert drinks were very flavorful, a unique spin on soda floats. The mango float, though perplexingly green in color, was rich with lime syrup, light carbonated syrup, a dollop of sorbet, and a pinch of cotton candy. Not overly sweet, a swirl of fruit flavors that somehow don’t compete or clash, and honestly leaves you wanting more. One glance at the Snoopy fluffy pancake and we just had to try. High attention to detail, extremely light, the quality can honestly compete with the highly-sought fluffy pancakes at nearby establishments (which I have waited in line for extended periods of time). Great place for adults, kids, and yes, they...
Read moreThe dining experience at this restaurant fell short of expectations. The food was average in taste and seemed to focus more on appearance. Given the high prices on the menu, I had hoped for a more enjoyable culinary experience. The overly sweet lemonade was nothing to write home about.
Unfortunately, the service was even more disappointing. One of the food attendants rudely dismissed my husband while he was inquiring about reservation details. Despite being given a dinner time slot, the same attendant continued to be disrespectful by banging our plates during service. This behavior was not only disrespectful but also appeared to be racially motivated, as the attendant treated Japanese customers with much more courtesy and gentleness. This stark contrast left us feeling unwelcome as foreigners.
The ambience was the only positive aspect of the restaurant, but it was not enough to compensate for the subpar food and service.
I urge the management to review and reinforce their company policies on staff conduct. It may be beneficial to provide additional training for the staff. This experience was a letdown, and I have no intention of returning...
Read moreReally enjoyed my time hear in this cafe at the corner of Harajuku. It is Snoopy themed as the name suggests and is cozily decorated with Snoopy wall decor, on the chairs and with merchandise you can purchase. Of course, the food and drinks are all snoopy themed and they are really so adorable! One plus point is that while such themed cafes generally do not have much to shout about food-wise, I found the food in this cafe to be yummy - the snoopy pancake was with tea syrup which was a nice surprise!
Recommended to make a reservation as it can get quite busy with long lines. We were lucky to be able to get in even though we didn't have a reservation as we visited at dinner time which was a less popular time.
Great place to get your hands on some snoopy merch too especially if you're a fan!
One thing to note is you'll need to get an item each from the menu. Meaning 2 people will need to order at least 2 mains or a main...
