Red Pepper — Restaurant in Tokyo

Food was pretty good. Place is kinda small. though, so it gets crowded and you have to wait sometimes. And by crowded, I mean you're right next to other diners. I wouldn't call it a romantic place or anything.

Some of the staff when we went seemed a bit unprofessional, failing to understand what the people ahead of us in the line were saying, and it struck me as slightly rude for Japan. He wasn't trying to be rude, but if you understand the Japanese language, you'll know what I'm talking about.

Still, decent food. Would recommend...

Well, too bad this place has so many good reviews... I was expecting more ! Lunch set is about 1500¥ but the lasagna is the worst I ever had. This was basically 2 sheets of overcooked lasagna soaked in a pinkish sour cream sauce with a couple of meat balls floating. Staff is kind and diligent though... Really super disappointing, far from an authentic Italian good franquette restaurant. Place is very very small and seats are packed ; you better not sit next to the door...

Got their at around 11:15 on a Saturday and got in as a first group for lunch. There were about 4-5 groups waiting in line after us.

Their lasagna is good but I’ve had better. I think it’s a bit overrated to be honest. It’s definitely delicious but it only has 1 or 2 layers of pasta that it’s not really satisfying. Service is okay. I would love to go back for dinner to try other...
