I had the most popular veggie curry soup, with the shrimp coconut broth and some of the garlic fries broccoli. I don’t have a lot of experience with Japanese soup curry but this was easily the best I have ever had. The broth was delicious, and I couldn’t get enough of it. There were a ton of different vegetables and they all tasted great and had wonderful texture despite me taking my time to eat and leaving them in the broth for a long time. Despite only 1 chicken leg, it was a huge portion size and after leaving it in the soup for a little, it melted off the bone and just tasted magnificent. The leftover bits of chicken went great with the rice/soup combo at the end. Atmosphere was nice and relaxing, didn’t seem like a super busy restaurant but I came on a random weekday night so your experience may be different. Definitely coming again

Amazing Japanese fusion kitchen. The crew mixes Japanese, Indian, Middle Eastern cuisine to a bowl form and it tastes exquisitely. You can choose amount of vegetables, crispiness of the chicken, rice size and hotness. Vegan options available, the base is gluten free anyway. The staff is super friendly, very young and the visitors rather alternative. The price is very fair for the fresh produce. Very systematic, very tasty. Could work in European metropols perfectly.

Update 12/2022: came here again to give it another shot, believe it or not… missing veggie which the cook noticed. And the flavor of the soup has changed! What happened? Update: I’m dropping my rating for this place from 5 to 3.5. It saddens me because this used to be my favorite restaurant in Tokyo. For the 4th time there were 2 veggies missing from my curry. The portion is inconsistent every time I go. The meat sometime is half the size I thought I was getting children’s meal. And why is lunch so much smaller when it is same price as dinner? There’s also a guy who works there who just seems always unwelcoming and grumpy, even though we are dinner regulars. The taste is so good, but I don’t want to complain about something is missing, the portion is off, every time I go there just to enjoy my meal. It spoils the experience for me.

If you'd like something different from the classic Japanese curry, this is a great chance to sample the Hokkaido style in Tokyo. The soup is vegetable-based, so vegetarians can leave out the chicken or pork and load up on options with as many as 20 different veggies included! The drink menu varies from day to day with different fruit-flavored lassi options on special.
