Salsa Cabana Yotsuya Bar — Restaurant in Tokyo

Disappointing experience. My only 1 star I've ever given in any travel. (Scammer and bad service. Check the reviews where ppl got change stolen by restaurant. Also note each person MUST buy 1 drink which is not mentioned - Let me start with my experience: We ordered 1 order of the Mexican Stone Bowl and one order of the Beef taco. Pointed at the stone bowl and we even had the lady waitress CONFIRM VERBALLY HERSELF that this bowl is good for 2 people. We continued with the order of these 2 items. We recieved the beef tacos (Decent 3/5). Waited 45min+ for the soup/Mexican bowl... After patiently waiting about an hour thinking "How could this take so long??!" We asked what's going on with the soup order we've waited an hour patiently. The ridiculous waitress tried to argue with us that we didnt order it!! (She verbally confirmed with us this order!!! How could she be so daft to screw that up???!) Rule #1 in customer service/hospitality: DO NOT LIE OUT OF YOUR MISTAKE, DO NOT ARGUE WITH A CUSTOMER. Afterwards after the server lying too us.. we ok'd to wait for this soup as she said it will be 10minutes (ended up being 18min but whatever... not even upset about that) We ate the soup and then proceeded to pay. We are classy and didnt even complain or anything after eating the soup. When paying they didnt put any discount or even apologize at all. Like I said we have class and this is the cheapest place we've ate during our 2 weeks in Tokyo... but from a service point you would think they would've done something on the price after lying and giving awful service. Avoid this place theres SO MANY good places in Tokyo to eat!!! (This is not one of them at all). Japanese people have the reputation for best manners and service. (Service here FAILED so hard by any countries standards... what a shame in Tokyo Japan to have such a bad service restaurant) on the same street there are about 15 others places to better eat. The place is small but they have very close taste to Mexican food, here you will find all kind real Mexican beers and apart of that tequilas really sold in Mexico on the drinks side they are strong if you would like to have a real Mexican drink. For food the tacos and taste is similar to the real ones but with the help of real Mexican salsas like you see in one of the photos the taste get closer to real Mexican food. The staff is friendly but if you go when is crowded you will need to wait long time to get your food, for drinks is a little bit faster. The place itself has a lot of decoration from Mexico very colorful. If you are close to this restaurant and you are alone or with friends why you don’t try to have a drink some snacks and get relaxed with the chill environment that you will get in here. The place have plenty of dishes that you could try. One interesting option is the octopus tacos, I really liked with a little bit of lemon and salsa it was really delicious! The beef tacos as well too, the guacamole...

Found this place by accident. We wanted Mexican food and was debating between this a and another place a few steps away. We were persuaded by the smell wafting from this place. ;)

Had Virgin Piña Colada and Virgin Mojito. Both were really really good. The food were great too, especially the pork carnitas taco, the pork enchiladas, and the grilled beef on a stick. Not a big fan of the seafood quesadilla tho…

The wait for the food is a bit slow (lots of UberEats orders I guess), tho they were pretty fast with the drink and appetizers so we weren’t waiting hungry.

The corn tortilla was grey in color, it was interesting. Haven’t really had one with that...
