I hope I die now so I don’t have to ever taste something less delicious than the sushi from this restaurant.

Personally, my favourite sushi place in Tokyo. A little out of the way from the usual popular areas but with no queues and very good quality fish, what’s a little walking.

It is run by 3 old man and 1 old lady who are all very friendly and hospitable. Get the special set for 2,800yen and add on a hotate nigiri. (Or just go ham on the sweetest, creamiest uni sushi you will ever have)The FOC fruits (mandarin orange/strawberry) at the end were also the best tasting fruits I’ve ever had.

Probably visiting them again tomorrow. (Edit: visited them again for dinner and it was even better plus there’s no price difference between...

We loved it! We discovered this authentic sushi restaurant by chance and felt super lucky for that. The first thing you'll notice is the kindness and welcoming nature of the hosts and sushi chefs. They could tell we were tourists and were really attentive to us. We were also lucky to be delighted by watching two sushi chefs prepare our meal. They're very experienced—since the restaurant has been around for more than 60 years, you're gonna be sure that you're getting the authentic experience. Also, we noticed that there were mostly locals dining there, so that's another point for authenticity, I guess. We ordered two specials which were 3300 yen each. So if you're nearby, take a moment to give it a try, you...

Came here during lunch hour on a random workday! We were invited in with no wait time. There was no menu but the chef asked us if we wanted the lunch set and we said yes! Ended up with the perfect, local, and extremely well priced sushi experience for Tokyo! We paid ¥1000 per person (🫶🥰) and the sushi was amazing and well portioned.

In other reviews some people say that they were turned away despite tables being free. From what I saw, sometimes they just need 5-10 minutes to turn around the tables/counters for the next guests. Just be patient!

Highly highly recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere low key,...

The best value for your money if you are searching for traditional a la carte sushi! It’s a very small place, only 10 bar seats and a single table. It seemed like they did a lot of to go orders for local folks. The parents are the servers, and I assume the sushi chefs are brothers or just good friends. The sushi itself was delectable. It’s a simple menu but they know what they are doing. Probably the best negitoro roll I’ve ever had in my life. Ask them for what’s fresh or pick from the menu, either way you can’t go wrong. Of it smells like a fish market when you first walk in, don’t be deterred. It’s part of the experience!
