Store displaying and selling fine authentic crafts from the different prefectures across Japan. Craft types included ceramics, porcelain, wood, textile, and paper.
There were items available in a range of prices so my partner and I were able to find some beautiful ceramics to take home at mid-range prices. However, there were also affordable items to give as gifts and high-range works of art on display.
Information about the origins of the pieces is frequently listed and there are many helpful staff to answer any questions. There was also additional information about other authentic craft sellers through Tokyo and information about the crafting process for certain types of items.

There are some live demos, videos, and a lot of educational signage. If you're an artist or art-lover, this is a top-tier visit as the shop is very large and diverse.
Much of the work for sale is high quality and therefore the prices can get really high as well, but there are a number of items in the low-to-mid-range too. I bought three pieces of beautiful marquetry which were in the mid-range cost bracket. They packaged them beautifully, with instructional text on cards, for the people I am giving them to.
There are restrooms available as well as...
